What admins see now: a new analytics overview
October 14, 2026
Running Braineos well means knowing more than "is the site up." We've built an admin-only analytics overview that pulls together three different pictures of the platform's health into one place.
Content health
How much content actually exists, how much of it is empty (a deck with zero cards), and how the hidden quality scores (see the previous post) are actually distributed -- grouped into quartile buckets rather than one average that could hide a lot of decks sitting at either extreme.
Growth and engagement
New users and new decks created in the last week, how many study attempts happened, and -- deliberately not the same thing -- how many distinct people actually studied something this week. Counting attempts alone would let one extremely active learner make the whole platform look busier than it is; counting unique active learners instead gives a truer read on actual reach.
Monetization
How much of the user base is on premium, this month's AI usage split between full generation calls and lighter-weight calls, and a breakdown of subscription statuses -- active, canceled, past due, and so on.
Why this is admin-only
This dashboard exists to help the team spot trends and problems early, not to expose anyone's individual activity -- it's aggregate numbers and distributions, not a lookup tool, and it's gated behind the same admin check as the rest of the admin area.
