Serve
Made underhand with one foot behind baseline. Ball hit in air (No bouncing first) over net diagonally and must clear non-volley zone
Lob
Backcourt shot high with angle of racquet facing up, follow through over shoulder
Drive (forehand/backhand)
Backcourt shot within few feet of net with racquet angled flat across court. Follow through at waist
Smash
Forecourt/backcourt shot hit on sharp downward angle racquet facing downward
Drop Shot
Forecourt Shot: ball hit lightly passes within inches of net, racquet faced angled slightly over net
Rally
exchange of hits between 2 teams end result scoring point or "side out"
Volley
Hitting ball without letting it bounce on your side first
Non-Volley Zone
Player not allowed to volley ball standing here. Ball must bounce first to be able to hit ball.
