Factor
numbers you multiply together to get another number (Example: 4 and 5 are factors of 20,because 20 = 4 x 5)
Multiple
The result of multiplying two numbers. (Example: 20 is a multiple of 4 and 5, because 4 x 5 = 20)
Nonzero Multiple
All multiples besides zero.
Prime Number
Number that can be divided evenly only by 1, or itself. (Example: 13 can only be divided evenly by 1 and 13, so 13 is a prime number.
Composite Number
Number that can be divided by more than just 1 or itself. (Example: 14 is a composite number because it can be divided by 1, 2, 7, and 14.)
