Transaction

Isolation

Consistency
Ensures that once transaction changes are dobe they cannot be undone.
Durability
Used to keep track of all transactions that update the database.
Transaction Log
The coordination of the simultaneous execution of transactions in a multiuser database system.
Concurrency Control
List Three Main Problens in Concurrency Control.
Lost Update, Uncommitted Data, Inconsistent Retrievals
This guarantees exclusive use of a data item to a current transaction.
Lock
A problem in which two or more transactions wait for eachother to unlock data.
Deadlock
Name the two-phases of locking protocol.
Growing Phase, Shrinking Phase.
