ELEMENTS

A layout or element is taller than it is wide

VERTICAL

A layout or element that is wider than it is tall.

HORIZONTAL

Comparative relation between things; ratio.

PROPORTION

Amount of pixel detail LowRes=Pixelated HighRes=Crisp & Clear.

RESOLUTION

Area within layout to keep elements separate.

MARGIN

Person, object or scene captured by an artist or photographer.

SUBJECT

Relationship of elements in space, Back, Middle and Foreground. Not flat.

DEPTH

Difference in visual properties, elements separate from each other.

CONTRAST

To get, remove or pull with special effort or skill.

EXTRACT

Elements that are arranged or ranked above another.

HIERARCHY

To adapt or change to suit one's purpose, changing original meaning.

MANIPULATE

Comparing side to side to show differences.

JUXTAPOSITION

Giving great importance, intensity or prominence.

EMPHASIS

Without reference to specific object or instance; lacks reality.
