Troposphere

Lowest layer of the Earths atmosphere and where weather occurs Rain, snow, and storms and most clouds occur in the troposphere

Contains the ozone layer

Mesosphere

The middle layer of the atmosphere

Nitrogen and Oxygen molecules convert solar energy into heat

Ionosphere

Radio waves bounce off these ions in the ionosphere and bounce back to the earths surface

Phone calls and tv pictures reach you by communication satellites in the exosphere

Earth is surrounded by a blanket of air called the atmosphere about three fourths of the atmosphere is nitrogen Almost one fourth is oxygen
