A word used by the Buddha when referring to himself. Litterally means the thus-come one.

A lay devotee of the 3 jewels of Buddhism, who follows strict Buddhist practices just short of nuns or monks.

Monostary or larger dwelling of Buddhist monks and nuns that serves as a fairly permanent home
vinaya
Collection of rules of dicipline attributed to the Buddha to keep monks and nuns' conduct regulated
