Dig a hole in the middle of the road and fill it with water so that the bus would hit it and break
down, forcing the white kids to walk.

He came to warn about the night riders. They feared the night riders were coming after them
because of the bus incident.
Why did Stacy sigh with relief when T.J. told them why the night riders had tarred and feathered
Mr. Tatum?
He knew then that the night riders weren't looking for them.
Why was Stacy punished in class?
Stacy took away the cheat notes T.J. had prepared and was caught with them.

been to the Wallace store?
He felt the children should take responsibility for their actions and admit it.
