Badges: earn them as you study, show them on your profile

Studying a little every day is the whole trick with flashcards. Badges give that habit something to show for it.
What you can earn
There are eight badges on Braineos. Most have tiers, from Bronze up to Platinum:

| Deck creator | Publish 1 and 10 public decks |
| Studied by others | 10, 100 and 1,000 learners study your decks |
| Friend brought | 1 and 5 friends join with your referral code |
Where they show up
- When you earn one, a card pops up with the badge, its tier and a Share button.
- Your trophy case is on your profile (click your name at the top of any page), under Badges. It shows every badge you've earned and when, plus the ones you haven't earned yet.
- Next up, on your Progress page, shows the badges you're closest to and how far you have to go, with a link to all your badges.
If you studied before badges arrived, you already have the ones you've earned. We added them quietly, so there was no flood of pop-ups.
Sharing
Every earned badge has a Share button: copy the link, post it to X or Bluesky, or use your phone's share sheet. The shared page shows the badge, not your name or your study history.
Keeping them private
Badges show on your public profile by default. To hide them, edit your profile and untick Show my badges on my profile. You'll still see them yourself.
