Braineos is now on Google Play. If you've been studying on the website, your decks, your reviews, and your streak are already waiting for you on your phone.
What you can do in the app
- Sign in with Google and get straight to your existing library, or start a new one.
- Discover and search decks other people have made, and copy any of them into your own library to study.
- Vote for the decks you find useful, so good ones are easier for everyone to find.
- Study with spaced repetition. Each card comes back right before you're likely to forget it, based on how well you knew it last time.
- Keep your streak going. Studying on the app counts the same as studying on the website, so switching between them doesn't cost you anything.
- Check out other learners' profiles to see what they've been studying.
The AI features still do the heavy lifting
Braineos can turn raw notes into a finished deck, and that part currently happens on the website (it's a premium feature, since generating cards costs real API calls):
- Paste your notes in, get a deck out. Drop in up to 20,000 characters of notes and Braineos pulls out term/definition flashcards automatically.
- "Make more like these." Already have a deck going? Ask for more cards in the same style and topic, and it skips anything that would duplicate what's already there.
- Fact-checking. Run a deck through a check that flags any card that's actually wrong, with an explanation and a corrected version to swap in.
- Auto-tagging. Get a short description and up to five relevant tags suggested for a deck, instead of typing them yourself.
- "Why was that the answer?" Miss a card while studying, and you can ask for a quick explanation of the right answer, plus a mnemonic if one would help.
Anything you build or fix with these on the website shows up in the app the next time you open it. Same deck, same schedule, no extra step.
If you'd rather build a deck without opening the website at all, you can also talk to Claude and ask it to make one from a conversation, quiz you on it, and record the results, all without leaving the chat.
