CertBrain is on Google Play

by Miles Corran · October 22, 2026

CertBrain is now on Google Play.

If you missed the web launch: CertBrain is a study site for one goal, passing the AWS Certified AI Practitioner exam (AIF-C01). It runs on the Braineos platform, the same way Finance Brain does: one codebase, several focused learning sites, each with its own name, content and accounts.

That makes three Android apps on the platform now, after Braineos and Finance Brain.

What's in the app

CertBrain follows the exam's own structure, with one course for each of its five domains. In the app you get:

  • Short lessons, each followed by a quiz of original scenario questions, with an explanation for every answer.
  • Spaced-repetition reviews, so each question comes back right before you'd be likely to forget it.
  • Your progress through each course, what to study next, and a daily streak.
  • Sync with the website. Sign in with the same Google account on both and you pick up where you left off.

New: try it before you sign in

Every Braineos app so far has asked you to sign in before showing you anything. CertBrain's doesn't have to.

On the website, the first thing CertBrain suggests is its free readiness diagnostic: a short quiz across all five exam domains that shows where you're strong and what to study first. The app now has it too, behind a "Try the free diagnostic" button on the sign-in screen. Your answers are scored on your phone, and the results show how you did in each domain, name your weakest one, and explain every question you missed.

The button is controlled by a switch in each site's settings, so the Braineos and Finance Brain apps don't change.

How it was built

Adding a third app was mostly configuration: one new build entry and one new site profile, plus the diagnostic screen. If you're curious how one React Native codebase becomes three store listings, the studio that builds the platform wrote it up: CertBrain is on Google Play: the third app from one mobile codebase.
